Norsk Titanium and Airbus Aerostructures Showcase Rapid Plasma Deposition® Technology

Plattsburgh, New York – April 24, 2025 – Norsk Titanium (Euronext: NTI, OTCQX: NORSF) a global leader in additive manufacturing for aerospace-grade structural titanium components using its patented Rapid Plasma Deposition® (RPD®) technology highlights their continued business relationship with Airbus Aerostructures with two key recent events.

At the 9th Additive Manufacturing Forum in Berlin in March 2025, current programs for use of additively manufactured titanium were presented by Airbus Aerostructures, showcasing Norsk Titanium’s RPD® manufacturing of near net shapes of titanium components and the large A350 lower frame that was first installed on an A350 in October last year.

Norsk Titanium entered into a long-term Master Supply Agreement with Airbus Aerostructures to support A350 production in April 2024. The company has delivered titanium parts under two production orders and is continuing discussions with Airbus Aerostructures on parts that could be part of a third production order. Norsk Titanium is committed to supporting Airbus’ feasibility studies to expand the use of additive titanium manufacturing to all their aircraft programs.

Demonstrating its continued partnership with Airbus Aerostructures, Norsk Titanium was pleased to host Nils Witt, Chief Procurement Officer and Elmar Luetjen, Head of Detail Parts Procurement of Airbus Aerostructures at their Plattsburgh Production Center (PPC) to discuss Norsk’s industrial capability and capacity to meet Airbus demand. Key to this visit was a tour of Norsk’s G4L machine capable of printing parts up to 1.9 meters in length and demonstrations of various Airbus components.
